A widely acclaimed violinist with an impeccable musical pedigree, Yuval Yaron made his debut performance with the Israel Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta at age sixteen.
On this recording, accompanied by pianist Jeremy Denk, he performs works by four greatly respected virtuoso composers: along with Tartini's The Devil's Trill, he plays Leclair's Sonata in C Minor and Sonata in D Major, Vivaldi's Sonata in D Major, and the Fritz Kreisler transcription of Gluck's Melodie from the opera Orfeo ed Euridice.
Yaron's astonishing playing was scrupulously captured at Auer Hall, Indiana by recordist Ken Christianson.
